The North British Distillery Company was established in 1885 and is a producer of grain whisky spirit sold to global customers for blending purposes. Significant quantities of North British grain whisky are included in many well-known brands. The company is capable of producing more than 70million litres of whisky per year and has a long standing reputation within the Scotch whisky industry for the quality, flexibility and innovation of its operations.

We are looking to recruit a Business Process Manager – one of the core roles in the West Calder facility – who will have responsibility for the development and delivery of process improvements throughout the operation. Systems management, specifically stock management and planning capability are key focus areas to ensure that the business meets customer demand. The Business Process Manager will produce business intelligence to assist in forecasting and resource allocation.

We are looking for candidates who can work across the business to put in place robust measures for activity on the site and who will strengthen existing systems to build operational excellence and KPIs into all processes. They will work with other Department Leads to develop effective metrics for measuring performance and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidates must be able to display strong abilities in leadership, change management and commercial awareness. This is a senior site role which will deputise for the Director of Customer Logistics and Warehousing in his absence. We are interested in a successful track record of operating in a busy operations environment where safety, quality, customer service and environmental management are paramount.
